How do I know if I need therapy?

What can I expect in my first session?

Your first session is an opportunity to meet your therapist, discuss your goals for therapy, and begin to outline your therapeutic journey. It’s a time for you to share what you’re comfortable with and to ask any questions you may have.

How long does each therapy session last?

Each session typically lasts about 55 minutes. This duration allows for meaningful discussion and progress in each session.

How often will I have therapy sessions?

The frequency of sessions depends on your individual needs and goals. Some clients benefit from weekly sessions, while others may meet less frequently. This will be discussed and agreed upon with your therapist.

Is therapy confidential?

Yes, confidentiality is a fundamental part of the therapeutic process. What you discuss in therapy remains between you and your therapist, with very few legal exceptions related to safety.

Do you offer virtual therapy sessions?

Yes, we offer both in-person and virtual sessions to accommodate your preferences and lifestyle. Virtual sessions are conducted via Zoom and are as confidential and effective as in-person sessions.

What are your payment options?

We accept self-pay and offer a sliding scale for payment. For more detailed information about payment options, we encourage scheduling a free consultation. 

What if I need to cancel or reschedule a session?

We understand that life can be unpredictable. We ask for advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule, to accommodate other clients and maintain the flow of your therapeutic progress.
